Mastic oil from Chios 5gr

Description

Mastiha oil is the essential oil obtained from the distillation of natural Mastic. The yield of mastic oil varies depending on the quality of the Mastic from 1% – 3%. The mastic oil with the Chios Mastiha Producers’ Union mark is pure and unadulterated, guaranteed as a genuine mastic extract. It was first produced in Germany, in the city of Braunschweig, by dry distillation. In 1573 it became known in the pharmacist circles of Berlin and later in 1580 in the ‘Augustinian Pharmacopoeia’ (Pharmacopoea Augustiana).
