The Kostea Distillery, based in Kalamata and a tradition since 1962, produces high quality ouzo, combining traditional recipes with aromatic herbs and aniseed. It is made from aromatic herbs based on aniseed, ethyl alcohol and water, according to the traditional recipe of the distillery. It is served with ice or cold water and kept at room temperature. It is not recommended to keep it in the refrigerator.
